👨‍👩‍👧

Family sponsorship

A U.S. citizen or permanent resident can sponsor a spouse, parents, children, or siblings. Immediate relatives of U.S. citizens skip the visa queue; other preference categories wait from 20 months to 13 years. Filing early and correctly is the only way to shorten it.

The most common path: 87% of green cards for Vietnamese are family-based

🪪

Green Card

Four routes: family, employment (job offer, extraordinary ability), refugee/asylum, and others such as the DV lottery or the K-1 fiancé visa. We help you pick the right door before you spend money on the wrong one.

🇺🇸

Citizenship

Take the citizenship test after 5 years with a green card (or 3 years if married to a U.S. citizen), with residence, English, and civics requirements. The full path from green card to citizenship usually takes at least 4–6 years.

📄

Adjustment of status

Already in the U.S. and want to become a permanent resident (Adjustment of Status) without leaving the country. If your visa has already expired, the sooner you act the better; we handle these cases with our partner attorneys.

💼

EB-5 investment

A green card for the whole family through an investment from $800,000, carried out with experienced U.S. EB-5 attorneys. Private discussion and clear numbers before you commit.

Handled directly with U.S. partner attorneys

Wait times by category shift with the Department of State's monthly visa bulletin. During your consultation, we check the exact schedule for your case at that moment.
FAQs

Before you decide

Who can sponsor me to the U.S.?

U.S. citizens can sponsor a spouse, parents, children, and siblings. Permanent residents (green card holders) can sponsor a spouse and unmarried children. Each relationship falls under a category with a different wait time.

How long does sibling sponsorship (F4) take?

Currently around 13 years. No one can shorten this number, and you should be wary of anyone who promises to. What you can control is filing early and filing correctly from the start.

Which categories have no waiting line?

Immediate relatives of U.S. citizens: spouse, unmarried children under 21, and parents. These categories have no annual visa cap, so you only wait for case processing, not for the visa bulletin.

I have no relatives in the U.S. — is there a path for me?

Yes: employment-based, EB-5 investment, or starting with study and building from there. Each has different financial and documentary requirements, so it is best to talk it through directly.

My sponsorship case has stalled — can Americanite fix it?

We have untangled many long-stuck cases, usually caused by errors or missing documents from the start. Bring your file in and we will review where it is stuck, free of charge.

How are service fees calculated?

Quoted once, in full, per case type right after the first consultation, separate from government filing fees. No hidden fees and no surprises midway.
